Mrs. Betty Dempsey of Carnduff, SK. passed away at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the age of 79.
Betty is survived by one sister, Adena (Allan) Elliott and their three sons: Lee (Alison) Elliott (children, Ryan and Katie), Rob (Alana) Elliott (children, Sarah and Megan), and Jeff (Lauree) Elliott (children, Kyle, Matheau, and Shawn); one brother, John (Linda) Birch and their two children: Chris (Elizabeth) Birch (children, Jasmine (Ryan), Carter (Emily), and Abigail), and Tracy (Brad) Lee (children, Mackenzie, Logan, and Kaitlyn); three sisters-in-law, Evelyn Lanz, Dolores Elliott, and Carol Dickson; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, her parents, Earl and Margaret Birch, and three brothers-in-law, Henry Lanz, Ken Elliott, and Harding Dixon.
A Public Graveside Funeral Service for Betty was held at the Workman Cemetery (south of Carievale, SK.) on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Kimball officiating. Lunch followed at the Carievale Community Hall.
Both Betty and husband, Jack (2014) were interred together during this special service of remembrance.
