Brenda Gayle King

It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we say goodbye to our special loved one:

Brenda Gayle King of Oxbow, SK.

November 18, 1959 - February 28, 2019

Brenda passed away at the University Medical Centre, Las Vegas, Nevada after unexpected complications from an earlier illness. Family members were lovingly by her side as she passed peacefully.

Brenda was predeceased by her son, Scott Rubbert; father, Gordon King; sister-in-law, Marie Lamontagne.

She is survived by her husband, Mederick Lamontagne; son, Brett Rubbert (Christina Freitag) and families; mother, Lois King and families.

A formal funeral service will not be held. In keeping with Brenda's wishes, a private memorial service will be held at a later date (Summer 2019).

If friends desire, donations in memory of Brenda can be made to the Oxbow Flower Committee, c/o Mrs. Sandy Dalziel, Box 54, Oxbow, SK. S0C 2B0. This was a project that Brenda was heavily involved with and felt passionate about.

God's Garden

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering,
He knew that you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

So He closed your weary eyelids
and whispered, "Peace be thine"
Then he took you up to Heaven
With hands so gentle and kind.

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone…
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
