Mr. Chris Hansen of Weyburn, formerly of Oxbow, passed away at the Weyburn General Hospital on Monday, April 22, 2019 at the age of 90.
Chris is survived by his three sons, Brian (Teresa Minty) of Oxbow, Donald of the Philippines, and Mark (Delta) of Yorkton; daughter, Doris of Carmacks, Yukon; five grandchildren, Heather (Dan) Tober, Kayla (David) Guckert, Kaitlyn (Nick) Fornwald, Alayna (Jeff Bailey) Hansen, and Chris Hansen Jr.; nine great-grandchildren, Tristan, Rachel, Dane, Kyle, Ethan, Kayn, Alexa, Brianne, and Chloe; sisters, Helga Markussen and Frieda (Christian) Bonde; sister-in-law, Maxine (Brian) Levang.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn; daughter-in-law, Arlene; parents, Hans and Anne Hansen; in-laws, Harry and Edna Amos; brother, Peter Hansen; sister-in-law, Caja Hansen; brother-in-law, Kristian Markussen.
The funeral service for Chris was held at St. Paul's United Church, Oxbow, SK. on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jackie van't Voort and Heather Tober officiating. The interment took place at the Oxbow Cemetery.
