Mrs. Dolly Higgins of Melita passed away at the Melita Personal Care Home on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the age of 98.
Dolly is survived by her seven children: Vic (Bev), Myrna Bodin, Don (Sam), Lorna (Jim) Trimble, Pamela Gardiner, Val Gibson (Ralph Tweed), and Wayne (Sandy); twenty-two grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Marilyn Montgomery.
She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Higgins (d. 1998) and all of his siblings; parents, Francis and Rosella (Robertson) Skelton; four brothers; one sister; two sons-in-law, Terry Gardiner and Ron Bodin; granddaughter, Angela Gibson.
The funeral service was held at Victoria United Church, Melita, MB. on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Chris Davis officiating. The interment followed at the Melita Cemetery.
