Mrs. Doris Huish of Gainsborough passed away at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the age of 92.
Doris is survived and lovingly remembered by her four children: Julie Huish, Victor (Sandra) Huish, David (Rhonda) Huish, and Cathy (Rod) Murray; grandchildren: Hayley, Lindsay & Alex Huish, Karly (Dale) Simpson & Paula (Brett) Breitkreuz, Vanessa Murray, Darcy (Verna) McFarlane, Charmin (Cory) Chrusch, and Ryan Charney; great-grandchildren: Makenna, Braylee, Mya, Briar, Bowen, Owen, Connely, and Jessica; one sister, Peg; numerous members of her extended family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Huish in 2006; parents, Arthur and Hannah Hillard; sisters, Nan and Anne; son-in-law, Robin Charney.
A funeral service for Doris was held at the Christ Anglican Church in Gainsborough, SK. on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rob Reed officiating. A private family interment took place at the Gainsborough Cemetery. Lunch followed at the Gainsborough Community Hall.
