Dorothy "Dot" May (Stewart) Lewis

Mrs. Dorothy Lewis passed away peacefully at her home in the Melita PCH on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the age of 101 years.

Dorothy (Dot) is lovingly remembered by her four children: son, Gerald (Diane) Lewis.  Marcie (Ken) Greenley, children Kierra (daughter Neveah), Dilan and Lucas.  Rhonda (Eddie) Rink, children Kaelei, Kendal, Kristin, stepchildren Holly (Jon) Birnie (daughter Lennon), Kyle, and Tanner.  daughter, Blythe (Marcus) Shnitka.  Jennifer (Jake) Ewasiuk, children Evered and Ethan.  Holly (Norm) Baril, children Ava and Parker.  Michael (Dariene), daughter Annabelle.  daughter, Colleen (Ray) Smithson.  Dallas.  Meredith (Evan) Willcock, children Dia and Brynn.  daughter Marilyn (Bill) Holden.  Evan (Dana), children Liam and Nathan.  Jason (Alicia), son Lane.  Lisa (Jason) Bird, children Charleigh and Karter;  also brother, Murray Stewart (Margaret); two sisters-in-law, Kae Boyd, Mary Lewis and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Clive in 2012; parents, Russell and May Stewart; parents-in-law, Evan and Catherine Lewis; sister, Georgina Bawtinhimer (Joe); sister-in-law, Gwen Lewis; five brothers-in-law, Pryce Lewis (Erma), Frank Lewis, Dean Lewis, Alfred Lewis and Mel Boyd.

A Funeral Service for Dot was held at the Victoria United Church, Melita, on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 2:00pm with (rev.) Heather Sandilands officiating. Interment will take place at the Medora Cemetery at a later date.
