Mr. Floyd Beamish of Gainsborough, SK. passed away at the Gainsborough & Area Health Centre on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the age of 82.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Betty; son, Ferlin (Nancy); granddaughter, Melvina (Devon); Nancy’s daughter, Heather (and her son, Harrison); sister, Maxine Baryla.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick and Isabella (Marr) Beamish; six siblings, Thomas, Corinne, Bernice, Francis, Lloyd, and Melvin.
Floyd enjoyed farming, golfing, curling, fishing, rebuilding golf carts, making trailers, trips to the coffee shop to visit with friends, and many winters in Apache Junction, Arizona.
Floyd especially loved spending time with his family.
A public graveside funeral service was held at the Gainsborough Cemetery, Gainsborough, SK. on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Mrs. Bev Ireland officiating. Lunch followed at the Gainsborough Community Hall.
