Dear auntie,
It is with sadness that Sylvie and I say goodbye to you, but with happy memories of visits and news over the years. Our time living in Winnipeg was made particularly rewarding thanks to our several visits down to Deloraine and Melita for weddings and family gatherings. You never failed to make us feel welcome.
To Sharon, Colleen, Gayle, Daryl and families, our deepest condolences. We will always remember your mother as the strong-willed, independent woman that she was.

My condolences to Irene’s Family. She was always so welcoming whenever I saw her and loved her Christmas letters in past years. Although my trips to Deloraine are few these days would always think of Irene when driving through Melita.

Dear Auntie,
It was so much fun to dance around, be silly, drink white wine in the very early afternoon and laugh until tears rolled down our cheeks on that special Thanksgiving weekend in Stratford. Whenever I hear the song "I Got You Babe" I think of our Goodwill Raggedy Ann and Andy find. Thank you for that last phone call just to surprise me with a cheery hello.

My heartfelt sympathy is sent to Irene's family who will feel her loss every day going forward. Irene was an exceptional human being ... a strong, determined, compassionate and wonderful woman.
