Irene Marie (Rodenbush) Cannon

Mrs. Irene Cannon of Carnduff, SK. passed away at the Sunset Haven on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the age of 95.

Irene is survived by two daughters, Lynne (Pat) Porter (their sons, Cody (Lindsey), and Brendan), and Diane (Stan) McDougald (their children, Regan (Travis) Cowan (children, Ireland, Wynter, Sailor, and Scout), and Derek (April) McDougald (children, Bodhi, and Kegan); one son, Bill (Jan) Cannon (their children, Jessica (Chris), and Liam); three sisters-in-law, Gloria Cannon, Gwen (Steve) Kitar and Rowena Rodenbush.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Storie in 2006; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus and Dorothy (Roland) Rodenbush; all of her siblings including: eight brothers, Philip, Henry, Rudolph, Fred, Carl, Ernest, Bill, and Walter; six sisters, Katie, Lena, Freda, Peggy, Elma, Anne (Irene's twin); three brothers-in-law (on Storie's side), Dan, Jack, and Sylvan.

A public graveside funeral service for Irene will be held at the Glen Ewen Cemetery, Glen Ewen, SK. on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Mrs. Sandy Dalziel officiating. All are welcome to attend. Please bring a lawn chair to the service if you desire.

In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in memory of Irene may be directed to the Glen Ewen Cemetery Fund, Glen Ewen, SK. S0C 1C0.
