Mr. Jack Vercaigne, 87, passed away at the Melita Health Centre, on Friday, August 31, 2018
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret; parents, Joseph & Mary; step-mother, Jean; son-in-law, Bill Carr; siblings, George Vercaigne, Alice Schoonbaert, Robert Vercaigne, Blanche Lemieux, and Norman Vercaigne; brothers-in-law, Wilfred Barrie, Wilfred Lemieux, and Marcel Schoonbaert.
Jack is survived by his five children, Donna Carr (children, Megan & Katie) of Melita, Dale (Iris) (children, Aleeya, Tye & AJ) of Melita, Glenn (Lisa) (children, Nicholas & Liam) of Melita, Rochelle (Brad) Oliver (children, Alex, Lucas & Cole) of Melita, and Joe (Jaime) (children, Brooke, Tyler & Hudson Jack) of Red Deer; sister, Margaret Barrie; brothers, Paul Vercaigne and Duane Vercaigne; sister-in-law, Diane Vercaigne.
Prayers were said at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 7:30pm.
Funeral Mass was held at the church on Monday, September 3, 2018 at 10:30am. Rev. Fr. Paul Bisson celebrant. Interment followed at the Melita Cemetery.
