Mr. Leonard Dancey of Boissevain and formerly of Storthoaks, passed away suddenly while fishing on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the age of 75.
Leonard is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; daughter, Chris (Jamie) Jones; son, Jason Dancey; grandchildren, James Jones (Malorie Gunther), Jaret (Brooke Edel and daughter, Harper), and Felicia Seymour (Bo Cragg and sons, Weston & Raymond); sister, Jean Wilmot; brothers-in-law, Norman (Noella) Gordon and Jim (Pat) Gordon.
He was predeceased by his parents, Fred & Mary Dancey; step-father, Mel Yates; daughter Shannon Seymour; brother, Melvin “Buck” Dancey; sister, Helen (Gord) Campbell; and in-laws, Cyril & Ida Gordon
A Funeral Service for Leonard was held at the Boissevain Mennonite Brethren Church, 700 Aikman St. Boissevain, MB. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm MB Time. Pastor Geoff Unrau officiated.
Interment of ashes will take place at the Carievale Cemetery, Carievale, SK. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm SK Time.
