My deepest condolences to you on Orvina's death. I met her when I was student minister in Oxbow. She taught me so much about loving life especially when things looked dreary without ever downplaying the not-so-good. She was an inspiration to me. My prayer is that your memories will bring much blessing and knowing others share your sorrow offer comfort.

Such a smart and intelligent woman with a presence and personality that made me feel warm and happy. Our visits and interactions were engaging non judgmental conversations. She was also my grade six home room teacher at the Alameda school and I am one of many who’s life has been influenced for the better. Leah and I raised a glass of our best wine to her memory..

Orvina became my friend when she came faithfully to Sunset Haven, Carnduff so we could have rousing singalongs with our residents and she always had a reading to top the afternoon off!
Oh how she could make those piano keys sing but greater yet was that her very life sang-
she was hope, she was love, she was joy.
Such a privilege to have known her. Many blessings to your family as you will miss her dearly.
