I was so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. Don and I always enjoyed chatting with Pat & Kay when we would run into one another. Always the home town connection. I remember my Mom talking about my two grandmothers helping to care for baby Pat, when his mother died. I can’t help but think how Mrs. Cairns has waited a very long time to hold her baby boy in her arms. I am sure she is endlessly proud of the man he became, and the family he and Kay created. What a wonderful reunion they will all be having.
