Arley was an amazing man. His knowledge of organic farming, politics, and humanity was unprecedented. A truly inspiring man whose a hard act to follow.

I'll miss him terribly.

I admired Arley for many reasons. Humanitarian. Peace Activist. Justice Seeker. Independent Traveller. Photographer. Organic Farmer. Entrepreneur. His Laugh. His Smile. Arley traveled all over the world spending time in both cities and rural areas helping people whenever he could. Time spent with Arley was always filled with fun, laughter and interesting stories.
We've got lots of good memories.
....Sending love and sympathy to your family.

My memories of Arley, from way back when, are of his knee slapping stories of his travels and general experiences. He had a megawatt smile and would be laughing as he talked about sleeping in a hammock in a jungle or about an unforgettable sketchy tropical bus ride - not funny at the time but sure good entertainment in the retelling. His furniture was just as interesting as his stories. You couldn’t help but laugh along with him as his humour was contagious. I am sure he had a lot of close calls over the years, travelling like he did, but it didn’t seem to slow him down. I haven’t seen Arley for years but I imagine he was always like that, the kind of person this world needs, to bring a smile to faces along with his helping hands to boost people up where he could and help to make things better. I wish I could be there on Saturday to put him to rest. My sincere condolences to all.

My sympathy to all of Arley's family. I enjoyed many visits over the years, so interested in all his help given to the Peruvian families. He thought of everything to take along on his visits or arrange to send to the country. A very caring, & sincere man.
