Arley Dancey passed away at the Regina General Hospital on Sunday, January 21, 2018.
He was born on the family farm at Storthoaks on May 6, 1937 to Wesley and Nola Dancey. He was the youngest of five children. He lived and farmed near Storthoaks, SK. for most of his life. He also lived in Carievale until 2004, then moved to Winnipeg, and due to failing health he moved to Regina in 2016. He traveled to many countries over the years. He was a humanitarian, genuinely sympathetic to the poverty stricken people of the under developed countries.
Arley was predeceased by his parents, Wesley and Nola Dancey; sisters, Vera and Nettie and brother, Glen.
He is survived by his sister, Rose of Carnduff, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Public Graveside Service will be held at the Carnduff Cemetery - Carnduff, SK. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Susan Reed officiating. All are welcome to attend. Lunch will be served at the C.E. Hall (St. Andrew’s United Church) following the service.
