Mr. Ron Mayes of Pierson, passed away at the Melita Health Centre on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the age of 83.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Diane; three children, Peggy Mayes (Lynn), Troy (Rebecca) (children, Ron Jr. and Sadie), and Darren (children, Justin, Jessica, and Joy), (Pam’s children, Ashley Aron, Stephanie Dueck, and Brodie Aron); four great-grandchildren; sister, Louella (Hugh) Tamblyn; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bert & Lawday (Riddell) Mayes; daughter, Pam Mayes; grandson, Chase Mayes; three brothers, Clarence (Kay) Mayes, Elwyn (Leona) Mayes, and Harold (Loretta) Mayes.
A Funeral Service for Ron was held at the Lyleton United Church, Lyleton, MB. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00pm. (rev.) Heather Sandilands officiated. Interment took place at the Pierson Cemetery.
