Mrs. Rose Hansen of Carnduff, formerly of Glen Ewen, passed away at the Sunset Haven Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the age of 93.
Rose is survived by her three children, Bette-Lou (Bruce) Askew, Sheree-Lee (Dennis) MacNaught, and Randy (Nicole) Hansen; five grandchildren, Karrie Parent (Alain Boucher) (children, Kai, Jaede, and Maeve), Nicole (Kihenjo) Kirubi (children, Maya and Jalen), Shasta MacNaught, Emma and Jackson Hansen; brothers, Wesley (Bea) Scott and Bob Scott (Lornetta Rogers); brothers-in-law, Bob Ward and Ken Hansen.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arne in 2010; parents, Mungo and Gertrude Scott; in-laws, Axel and Camilla Hansen; sisters, Helen (Ken) Coleman and Vernetta Ward; sisters-in-law, Ruth Hansen and Muriel Scott; brother-in-law, Bill Hansen; sons-in-law, Rob Parent and Sid Brown.
A funeral service for Rose was held at the Glen Ewen Communiplex, Glen Ewen, SK. on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Mrs. Sandy Dalziel officiated. The interment took place at the Meridian Cemetery.
