Mrs. Willene Hull, formerly of Carievale, SK. passed away at the Sunset Haven, Carnduff on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the age of 94.
She was born on the family farm on December 4th, 1923, the eldest child of Joe and Maude (Boals) Young. Willene took her schooling in the old brick school house.
Willene was predeceased by her parents, Joe & Maude Young; sisters, Marge Murray, Dorothy Hull, and Ethel Kyle; brothers-in-law, Dick Murray, Lloyd Hull, and Bob Kyle.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Robert Hull (Tatum Lee); granddaughter, Carri-Lee (Cory) Rutten; grandson, Ryan (Melissa) Hull; great-grandchildren, Liam & Keira Rutten, and Dylan & Karlee Hull; sister, Lois (Don) Mann; numerous nieces and nephews - including Larrie (Reta) Murray who was like a son; her extended family “The Hendersons” - Jack, Pat, Greg, Jennifer, Shauna (Cal) Dumaine, Christine (Paul) Duperrier and their children.
The funeral service was held at the Carievale United Church on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rob Reed officiating. Interment at the Carievale Cemetery will take place at a later date.
