Alita McConnell Obituary
Mrs. Alita McConnell, formerly of Carnduff, passed away peacefully at the Galloway Health Centre (Long Term Care) in Oxbow on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the age of 78.
Alita is survived by son, Dewayne (Val) (their children, Selena (children, Nik & Reid), Stephanie (Brad Armstrong) (children, Jensen, Henley and Breken), Val Pierce (children, Tyson (Brittany), Clayton (Michelle) and Becky (Parker); son, Dwight (Rachel) (Rachel's son Jessie, and Dwight's son, Dylan); daughter, Gail (her son, Tyler and his children (Layton & Jax); sister, Karen (Don Barabe) (children, Richard and David and their families); extended McConnell family: Bob, Alice, Dale, Lee, Gena, Lynn, Laura and Shelley.
She was predeceased by husband, Allan; parents, Peter and Alva Nordwick; grandson, Kyle McConnell; partner, Ron Irwin; mother-in-law, Mildred Orr.
A public graveside service was held at the Carnduff Cemetery on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:00am with Mrs. Sandy Dalziel officiating.
