Allen Wilson Obituary
Mr. Allen Wilson of Oxbow, SK. passed away peacefully at the Galloway Health Centre on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the age of 96.
Allen is survived by his wife of 72 years, Joyce; two daughters, Deanna and Marlis; sister, Dot Young; brother-in-law, Bill Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, George and Bertha (Needham) Wilson; in-laws, Wilfred and Ethel Glaspey; sisters-in-law, Donna Jackson and Marlene Glaspey; brothers-in-law, Jim Glaspey and Howard Young; niece, Nancy Jackson.
A public celebration of Allen’s life was held at the Oxbow Friendship Centre, Oxbow, SK. on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Jackie van’t Voort officiating. Interment took place at the Oxbow Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in memory of Allen can be directed to the Bow Valley Villa, Box 207, Oxbow, SK. S0C 2B0.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all the staff at the Bow Valley Villa and the Galloway Health Centre.
