Allen J. Dixon

Mr. Allen J. Dixon passed away peacefully at the Gainsborough and Area Health Centre, Gainsborough, SK. on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the age of 82.

Allen is survived by his loving wife, Edith (Jacobson); five children, Alana Dixon (Greg Flynn) (her children, Amanda and Kevin), Janet (Cliff) Haddow (children, Tyler and Tristan), Sherri (Dennis) Pilon (children, Tanner and Katelyn), Dale (Suzanne) Dixon (children, Jordyn and Jett), and Lora (Scott) DeJaegher (children, Emily and Avery); brothers, Dick (May) Dixon and Wylie Dixon; sisters, Connie Osterman and Pat Henderson; sister-in-law, Carole Dixon; brothers-in-law, Harvey (Marilyn) Jacobson and Ken (Anne) Jacobson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-grandchildren.

Allen was predeceased by his parents, John and Annie Dixon; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Margaret Jacobson; siblings, Evelyne (Murray) Conley, Harding Dixon, Bessie (Wylie) Jeffrey, Neta (Keith) Rae, Joan (Bill) Bevan; and in-laws Ada Dixon, Bob Osterman, Jack Henderson, Thelma Dixon, Jim and Irene Cook.

The funeral service for Allen was held at the Carievale United Church, Carievale, SK. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathy Kyle officiating. The interment followed at the Carievale Cemetery.
