Mr. Arthur Shier of Carnduff, formerly of Alida, SK. passed away at the Sunset Haven, Carnduff on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the age of 90.
Arthur is survived by his three daughters: Inez (Douglas) Powley of Regina, Corinne (Timothy) Spithakis of Saskatoon, and Jo-Ann (Mike) Walter of Regina; four grandchildren, Fletcher Powley, Carter (Candice) Powley, Stephanie Spithakis, and Courtney Spithakis; brother, Stewart (Lorraine) Shier; sisters-in-law, Margaret Shier and Shirley Bendtsen; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Isabel in 2010; son, Norman Edgar Shier; parents, Harmon Edgar Shier and Minnie Ethel (Jones); brothers and sisters & brothers and sisters-in-law.
Dad spent his life farming. He enjoyed carpentry, woodworking, welding and working with his horses. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and friends. Dad was a patient man, always willing to lend a helping hand. He lived his life for his family.
A private family graveside service took place at the Oxbow Cemetery, Oxbow, SK. with Mrs. Sandy Dalziel officiating.
