Barbara Ann May Carpenter
Barb passed away at the Sunset Haven in Carnduff on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the age of 83. Barb is survived by her four sons: Ric (Cathy), Joe (Terrie), Terry (Melinda), and Scott; nine grandchildren: Nicole (Jared), Mitch, Riley, Tierra (Mitch), Demi, Josie (Travis), Ethan, Katie (Matt), and Wyatt (Brittany); twelve great-grandchildren: Haley, Gracie, Maddie, Adalyn, Shea, Scarlett, Jack, Iyla, Colt, Dylan, Paisley, and Francis; brothers: Bill (Pat) and Larry (Bev); sisters-in-law: Bonnie Carpenter and Nettie Ireland; also numerous nieces and nephews.
Barb was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Leo in 2002; her parents Clifford and Ethel Ireland; sister Lorraine Horsburgh and her husband Doug; brother Murray; grandson Taran Carpenter; father/mother-in-law Joseph and Vera Carpenter; brothers/sisters-in-law: Ken and Vi Carpenter, Floyd and Leona Carpenter, Jean and Larry Shea, Joan and Bud Parsons, Larry Carpenter, Donald Carpenter, Margaret Gifford, Bob and Mae Carpenter.
A public graveside service for Barbara was held at the Workman Cemetery (south of Carievale, SK.) on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Shane Boyes officiating. A lunch followed at the Carievale United Church (lower hall).
