Mrs. Bernice Elizabeth Herzberg of Frobisher passed away at the Sunset Haven, Carnduff on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the age of 80.

She was predeceased by her parents, Simon and Elizabeth Stroeder; seven siblings, Helen Fleuter, Ernest Stroeder, Pearl Helman, Joyce Ginther, Lorne Stroeder, Milton Stroeder, Ken Stroeder; grand-daughter, Viktoria Forseth; in-laws, Ernest and Bernice Herzberg; and brother-in-law, Leo Herzberg.

Bernice is survived by her husband, Lawrence Herzberg; four children, Laurie (Paula) Herzberg, Wade (Katrina) Herzberg, Curtis (Davida) Herzberg, and Tanya Herzberg; eleven grand-children, Justyn, Dylan, Blaine, Lyndon, Drydon, Rhys, Tyler, Eva, Mackenzie, Adrienne, Kolby; eight great-grandchildren, Vann, Bennett, Aspen, Charlie, Jack, Halle, Banks, Leighton; three sisters-in-law, Jeannette (John) Prokopetz, Marilyn Stroeder, and Teresa Stroeder; brother-in-law, Keith (Carol) Herzberg; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass was held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Oxbow, SK., with Rev. Fr. Chihn Vu celebrant. A private family interment followed mass at the Frobisher Cemetery. Everyone was invited to join the family at the Frobisher Union Church, Frobisher, SK. for a time of fellowship and refreshments following the memorial mass.
