"Bill" William John Boyes

Bill passed away peacefully at the Galloway Health Center on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the age of 94 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jane and Jack Boyes; brother, Connor Boyes; sisters, Audrey (Shelby) Siemens and Muriel (Orville) Thompson; brother, Marshall (Mac) (Molly) Boyes;  parents-in-law, Luella and Leslie Arnold; sister-in-law, Marion (Bob) Selkirk; brothers-in-law, Keith (Norah) Arnold and Gene Arnold (survived by his wife June); and daughter-in-law, Diane (Bigney) Boyes.

Bill is survived by Tarol his wife of 64 years; son, Shane (Shelley) and grandson, Kristopher (Erin) Boyes and granddaughter, Brooke (Mitchell) Morrison; son, Slade (Donna) Boyes and granddaughter, Breanna (Cody) Denbow and granddaughter, Lydia (Francis) Hammell; daughter Teresa Aube (Shane Leblanc) with granddaughter, Pam (Jay) Block and grandson, Calvin (Kearstin) Aube; son, Trevor (Brenda) Boyes with grandsons, Kash and Kane; four step grandchildren and their families; fourteen great grandchildren; also numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Kids always had a special place in Dad’s heart.  Teasing them and telling stories was one of his many gifts and one of his favorite pastimes.

The celebration of a cowboy’s life well lived was held at the Glen Ewen Communiplex, Glen Ewen, SK. on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Sandy Dalziel officiating. The interment followed at the Glen Ewen Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Bill may be directed to the Glen Ewen Cemetery Fund, cheques must be made out to the Village of Glen Ewen, Box 99, Glen Ewen, SK. or to the charity of your choice.
