Brendan Shaw

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Brendan James William Wesley Shaw at the tender, young age of 27. Brendan’s memory will be forever cherished by his loving parents, Scott and Myrna Shaw (Carlyle) and brother Marc Shaw (Carlyle). Brendan was the oldest of two sons and was raised in Carlyle. Brendan was born in Brandon, MB, on June 12, 1994.

Brendan was predeceased by James and Eloise Shaw (grandparents); Bud (uncle); Cynthia (aunt); and William and Doreen Blyth (grandparents) and Tricia (cousin). He is survived by aunts and uncles; Judy, Jim (Donna), Cheryl-Ann (Bob), David (Bev), Hank (Kim); Al (Linda), Donna (Dave), Brenda (Brad); as well as numerous cousins and many special Regina friends; Tyler Hopkinson , Sasha Marckoski (Mico & Kiyomi) Jade Wave Hodel, Jessica Bennett, Kathleen Zander, Kelly Speiler, Zac Rosslein, Jimmy Smith, Jason Dueck, Kaleb Smith, and Wynter Cyr.

Brendan worked for the family construction business, Shaw Earthmoving Inc. As a youngster Brendan enjoyed many sports; hockey, baseball, golfing, swimming, sledding, downhill skiing, and quadding. He loved socializing with friends, gaming, playing cards and he enjoyed many hot holidays with family and friends.

Brendan was kind and soft hearted with a gentle spirit. He had a hearty laugh, a big smile and a great sense of humour. This son, brother, friend, cousin, and nephew will be greatly missed and remembered. Brendan treasured his many friends, especially his Regina friends, these past couple of years. His memory will live on forever in our hearts!

A Celebration of Life for Brendan was held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Gainsborough Community Hall (lower level) with Reverend Rob Reed officiating. A time of fellowship and refreshments for family and friends took place after the service.
