It is with profound sadness the family of Carter Deitz of Oxbow, SK. announce his sudden passing on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the age of 17 years.
Carter was a huge animal lover. His dogs Zoey and Lucky and cat Tiger will sure miss his home time arrival conversations. Carter enjoyed working daily on his car and throwing in the odd welding session when he wasn’t enjoying a good game of Chel (NHL video games) with the “boys”. He was a man of few words, sometimes stubborn, but could always make a room laugh with his fast thinking comebacks while cracking jokes with everyone. He was the man of late night snacks and coming up with crazy ideas to do with Kaden and Hunter. We will never forget how proud he was of his curly moustache and plans were underway to grow mullets with Hunter for grad. Most of all, Carter was a hard worker with a huge heart and enjoyed spending time with family at home or working on the Hewitt farm with Kaden, Connor and Austin. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all. We love you Carter.
Carter is survived by his father, Jarett Deitz; step-mom, Courtney Deitz; brother, Kaden Deitz; step-brother, Hunter Stewart; step-sisters, Hailey and Hannah Stewart; grandparents, Carrie and Larry Mellom and Noreen Wells; mother, Michelle Duzan; brother, Tayvin Deitz; grandparents, Dale and Wendy Duzan; two uncles, Dalton (Sara) Duzan and Derrick (Amy) Duzan; as well as numerous cousins.
