Charles “Grey” Cowie
March 15, 1936 – February 10, 2025
Mr. Grey Cowie of Carnduff passed away peacefully at Sunset Haven, Carnduff on Monday, February 10, 2025 at the age of 88.
He was predeceased by wife, Donna (2022); parents, Al & Eva Cowie; infant sister, Marjorie Jean; son-in-law, Don Happy; and granddaughter, Samantha Cowie.
Grey leaves to mourn three children: Marie Happy, Brian (Kat) Cowie, and Allen (Lori) Cowie; grandchildren, Cristal (Ed) Ockochinski, Mitchell Cowie, Grace (Luke) McKenna, Amanda (Nathan) Simonar and Abbey Briltz.
He is also lovingly remembered by eight great-grandchildren always able to bring a smile: Leland & Emma Ockochinski, Thea & Finn McKenna, Brooke & Mila Simonar, and Carter & Ellie Briltz.
The funeral service for Grey was held at St. Andrew's United Church, Carnduff on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kathy Kyle officiating. Interment will take place at the Carnduff Cemetery.
