Mrs. Cheryl Faber of Alameda passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, Estevan, SK. on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the age of 70.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband Reg Faber; daughters: Michelle (Cory) Irwin (children Mercedes, Peyton, and Paris) and Erin (Chad) Knoll (children Rachel, Lily, and Meredith); step-daughters: Nancy (Scott) MacLennan (children Liam and Kiera), Stephanie (Grant) Gaffney (daughter Olivia), Tracey (Dennis) Nordin (children Jordan Nordin (Kirsten) (daughter Madison), Justine (Tyler) Skjonsby (son Sutter), Jalisa (Brandon) Pauchard (daughter Wrenley), and Brody Nordin), and Sandi (Scott) Routley (children Lucas and Estelle); brothers Grant (Debbie) Veitch and Lorne (Rhonda) Veitch; sisters-in-law Carol (Grant) Griffin and Shauna (Russ) Lazar; brothers-in-law Brian Faber and Dale (Shelley) Faber; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Cheryl was predeceased by her parents Jim and Edith Veitch; in-laws John and Doris Faber (Bill King); step-grandson Ben Gaffney; aunts Mabel (Tom) Hanley, Margaret (Jack) Somerville, and Agnes (Gordon) Chipperfield; uncles Tom Veitch, Donald (Esme) McLean, and Jack (Donna) McLean; cousin Randy Chipperfield; sister-in-law Brenda Faber; and nephew Jordyn MacDonald.
A public service to celebrate Cheryl's life will be held at the Oxbow Memorial Hall, Oxbow, SK. on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Mrs. Sandy Dalziel officiating. A lunch will follow. A private family interment will take place at the Alameda Cemetery later in the day.
