Chris Eby Obituary
Christine "Chris" Alexis (DeGagne) Eby of Oxbow passed away peacefully at the Bow Valley Villa on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the age of 72.
Chris was born in Calgary and spent her younger years in Calgary, Cochrane and Exshaw, AB.
She would later meet her husband, Larry Eby and moved to Kindersley, SK. to farm.
Chris is survived by her son, Brian Eby; daughter, Bri Eby (partner, Drew Greenshields) of Oxbow (their children, Dawson Greenshields, Gage Greenshields, Daylen Greenshields (Rosa Laliberte) and their daughter, Thyri Greenshields); mother, Lorraine Maloff; step-mother, Connie DeGagne; sister, Lori (Steve) Elgie (children, Lisa, Reid and Kaitlyn), brother, Gerry (Heather) DeGagne (children, Mindy and Jeremy), sister, Denise (Dale) Hanley (daughter, Janaya); sister-in-law, Alanna Degagne (children, Tyler, Lindsey and Graham)
She was predeceased by her husband, Larry in 2020; father, Alex DeGagne; brother, Kim DeGagne.
The family will celebrate Chris’ life at a later date.
Perennials in memory of Chris (for Bri’s garden) can be arranged through Dirt & Daisies Flower Shop, Oxbow, SK. Bri’s garden was her favourite spot. Memorial donations can be directed to the Bow Valley Villa, Oxbow, SK. S0C 0S0.
