Mrs. Darlene Simpson of Melita passed away unexpectedly at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the age of 74.
Darlene is survived by two sons, Kelvin and Mark (Jennifer) and their daughter, Emily; sister, Donna Loucks and her daughters, Cindy and Stacey and their families; sister-in-law, Carol Tracz and her daughters, Jennifer, Jacqui, and JoAnn and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ross in 2012; parents, Elliott and Sadie Chalmers; in-laws, Donald and Emma Simpson; brothers-in-law, Barry Loucks and Archie Tracz.
A funeral service for Darlene was held at Victoria United Church, Melita on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Christopher Davis officiating. A lunch followed in the C.E. Hall.
