Obituary
Mrs. Darlene Whitfield of Alameda, SK. passed away at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the age of 77.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Lorne Whitfield; daughters, Chardina (Jason) Mehler, Teresa (Jason) Whitfield and Bernice (Scott) MacIntosh; son, Dale Whitfield. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
She was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Lillian Blight; brothers, Dale and Wayne; in-laws, Grant and Barbara Whitfield; one sister-in-law and two grandsons.
The funeral service for Darlene was held at the Alameda United Church, Alameda, SK. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jackie van't Voort and Mrs. Sandy Dalziel officiating. The interment followed at the Alameda Cemetery.
