Mr. Dennis Kendall of Carievale passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the age of 75.

Dennis Ernest Garnet Kendall was born on October 25, 1945 in Carnduff, SK. Dennis was the oldest son of William and Maude Kendall. Dennis was raised on the family farm north of Carievale. At the age of 16, Dennis started working in the oilfield industry. When Dennis was 21, he met and married the love of his life, Ann Webb on January 21, 1967. Dennis and Ann spent the first ten years of their marriage living in Estevan as he continued to work in the oilfield on the drilling rigs. In the fall of 1978, Dennis and Ann bought and moved to the family farm at Carievale. Shortly after this time, Dennis purchased his first water truck and began hauling water to the oilfields and surrounding areas. Dennis continued doing what he loved – being a farmer and a water hauler until his death at the family farm. Dennis may have worked from sun up to sun down but his real joy was being a father to Bill, Sherry, & Randy and a grandfather to Ann, Kayla & Hailey.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Ann (Webb); son, Bill (Maria) Kendall (daughter, Ann) of Castlegar, BC; daughter, Sherry (Roger) Fielding (daughter, Kayla) of Foam Lake, SK; son, Randy Kendall (daughter, Hailey) of Carievale; sister, Barbara (Barry) Gillies of Estevan, brother, Claude (Anne) Kendall of Millet, AB, sister, Margaret Partridge of Medicine Hat, AB, sister, Joy (Gary) Steinke of Outram, SK, brother, Malcolm (Nola) Kendall of Carievale; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Willie and Maude Kendall; in-laws, Bruce and Lena Webb; brother, Kelly Kendall; brothers-in-law, Don Banks, Paul Webb and Allan Webb; grandson, Kyle Fielding.

A small private family service was held at the Carievale United Church, Carievale, SK. with Rev. Rob Reed officiating. The interment took place at the Carnduff Cemetery.
