Dianne Gedak Obituary

Dianne passed away in Saskatoon, SK. on Sunday, October 12th, 2025, at the age of 69. 

Dianne was born in Gainsborough, SK. on November 5, 1955, to her parents Patricia and Bertie Johnson. She worked hard in life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Dianne is survived by her mother, Pat Johnson of Gainsborough; her children, Rob Shaw (Liz) (children, Oneisha (Jarod), Hailey, and Aydden), Stacey Gedak (Mike Lavoie) (children, Tylan and Jacyn), Dana Duke (Jeremy) (children, Hailey, Nevaeh and Taigan); and the father of her daughters, Dan Gedak.

Dianne was predeceased by her father, Bertie Johnson; brother, Craig Johnson; grandparents, Arthur and Ellen Rutledge, and Bert and Annie Johnson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A public graveside funeral service was held at the Gainsborough Cemetery on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in memory of Dianne can be directed to the Gainsborough Cemetery Fund or to a charity of one's choice.
