Donna Cowie Obituary
Mrs. Donna Cowie of Carnduff passed away peacefully at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the age of 83.
She was predeceased by her parents, Gordon & Huldah Hutchinson, brother Dwayne Hutchinson (Chris MacKenzie), son-in-law Don Happy, and granddaughter Samantha Cowie.
Donna leaves to mourn her husband of 63 years, Grey Cowie; three children, Marie Happy, Brian (Kat) Cowie, and Allen (Lori) Cowie; grandchildren, Cristal (Ed) Ockochinski, Mitchell Cowie (Andrea Gohm), Grace (Luke) McKenna, Amanda (Nathan) Simonar and Abbey Briltz.
She is also lovingly remembered by seven great-grandchildren held so dear to her heart, Leland & Emma Ockochinski, Thea & Finn McKenna, Brooke Simonar, and Carter & Ellie Briltz.
A service to celebrate Donna's life was held at St. Andrew's United Church in Carnduff, SK. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Susan Reed officiating. Interment at the Carnduff Cemetery took place after the service and a time of lunch and visiting followed in the C.E. Hall.
