Donna Ruth Freeman
July 29, 1939 - November 22, 2023
Mrs. Donna Freeman of Melita, passed away at the Virden District Hospital, Virden, MB. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the age of 84.
Donna is survived by her four children, son, Greg Freeman; daughter, Barb Thompson (her children, Jana-Lee (Rob) Golinski and Lance (Mallory) Thompson); daughter, Jacquie (Laurie) Stamp (their children, Amanda (Richard) Stamp and Landon (Jessica) Stamp); son, Barry (Mariana) Freeman (his children, Andy Freeman and Leah Kruk). Donna is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Theo, Ladd, Brielle, Lexa, Remi and James.
Donna was predeceased by her husband, Jack Freeman; daughter-in-law, Cathy Freeman; and son-in-law, Keven Thompson.
In keeping with Donna’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to support the restoration of the horse in Melita's Central Park. Donations by cheque can be made to the Town of Melita, Box 361, Melita, MB. R0M 1L0 (and in the memo, horse rejuvenation memorial) or e-transfer to admin@melitamb.ca (password horse).
