Donna Jean (Vickers) Gould

Donna Gould of Melita passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the age of 68.

Donna was a strong, caring, loving woman who worked as a Health Care Aide for more than 30 years and was active on many committees: 4-H, Rebekah Lodge, Melita Legion Auxiliary, and Melita and Area Palliative Care. Donna loved gardening, camping and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Donna cherished the relationships she built with family, friends and her community.

Donna is survived by her son, Troy Gould (Jennifer); daughter, Lindsay Cooper (Kyle); grandchildren, Hayden, Dawson, Calista, Lynden and Nairn, Mason, Natalie; her father, Ivan Vickers; siblings, Helen (Rick) Schoonbaert, Grace Judd, Joyce (Grant) Philip, Kay (Michael) Herbert, Sylvia (Cam) Sinclair, Grant (Leanne) Vickers; in-laws, Darlene Gould, Trudy (Jim) Warren, Sherry (Keith) Line, Mel (Mike) Hrechka and Dennean (Shelley) Gould.

Donna was predeceased by her son, Trenton Gould; mother, Ellen Vickers; father-in-law, Lloyd Gould; mother-in-law, Millie Gould; brothers-in-law, Terry Judd and Ron Gould; niece, Taylor Renwick.

The funeral service for family and friends was held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Main Street, Melita, MB. on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Barb Alston officiating. A lunch followed the service. A private family interment took place at the Napinka Cemetery.
