Mrs. Doreen Davis of Brandon, formerly of Melita, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the age of 88.
Doreen is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Mel; four children: Gary (Llana), Linda (Ken), Kent (Elina), and Wayne (Pamela); nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Doreen was predeceased by daughter, Melva (d. 1959, five years old); parents, Mr. and Mrs. James and Marion Coates; sister, Mavis; brothers, Mert and Don.
The funeral service for Doreen was held at Knox United Church, Brandon, MB. (corner of 18th Street and Victoria Avenue) on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Craig Miller officiating. A time of lunch and visiting followed the service. The interment took place at the Melita Cemetery, Melita, MB. at 3:00 p.m.
