Doreen Olney Obituary
Mrs. Doreen Olney passed away at the Sunset Haven, Carnduff on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the age of 92.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; parents, Hilton & Agnes (McMillan) Shanks; grandson, Zachary Hahn; grand-daughter, Angie Olney; two brothers, Harold (Ethel) Shanks and Lloyd (Erla) Shanks; four brothers-in-law, Edwin (Lois) Olney, Ken (Marion) Olney, Walter (Grace) Olney, and Elmer Olney; three sisters-in-law, Jean (Cec) Harris, Hilda (Roy) Steeves, and Clara (Rod) McCloud.
Doreen is survived by her three children: daughter, Janice (Bob) Yung of Regina; son, Randy (Susan) Olney of Bienfait, and Barry Olney of Estevan; grandchildren: Stacey (Jay) Boysun, Teneal (Chris) Stark, Ryan (Jolene), Blake, and Emily Geisel (Brenden Mac); great-grandchildren: Chrissa Stark, Allison Stark, Casey Olney and Rhylan Olney; great-great-grandchildren, Dante Nadeau and Hailey Kish.
A service to celebrate Doreen’s life was held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Carievale United Church, Carievale, SK., with Mrs. Beverly Ireland officiating. Interment followed at the Workman Cemetery.
