Mr. Doug Wilmot of Carnduff passed away at the Sunset Haven, Carnduff on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the age of 96.
He was predeceased by his wife, Doreen; parents, Jack & Myrtle; daughter-in-law, Cheryl; three brothers, Glenn (Margaret), Gordon and Don (Dorothy); two sisters, Nellie (Bill) Barber and Nilda (John) Cole; brother-in-law, Hugh (Yvonne) Kennedy; three sisters-in-law, Anne Wilmot, Phyllis Millions, and Joyce (Dave) Mckinna; in-laws, Joseph & Kathleen Kennedy.
Doug is survived by his two sons, Eric (Sheila Sterling) and Doug “Duff” (Joan); two daughters, Marlaine (Don) Holmes and Nancy (David) McIntyre; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; brother, Hugh Wilmot; sister-in-law, Jean Wilmot; also numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Doug’s life was be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Andrew’s United Church, Carnduff, SK., with Reverend Susan Reed officiating. Interment followed at the Carnduff Cemetery. The service was live streamed from the St. Andrew’s United Church, Carnduff Facebook page.
