We did just as you wished Mom. Gathered family and friends to reminisce, eat and play music. Thanks for you being the Best Mom/grandmother and an exemplary woman to learn from. Miss you every day.

Aunt Betty was an artist in every way. She could create a fine meal for a few people or a few families or a crowd. She was a person who could listen and talk about the things of the heart or a good joke or story. She will be missed .

Betty comes from a tremendously loving caring family. Her and her sisters and her parents were there for me when I lost my mom just having turned 12. years old. Our hearts go out to Clare and all her family. You have indeed lost a remarkable wife, mother and friend. Our hope is in God's promise of a sure hope John 5:28, 29 and a perfect earth where we can welcome Betty back and hug her tightly for an eternity. Sincere sympathy to all her siblings and all her family. Lorne and Mildred McNarland

Beautiful obituary by the family. She"s the last of the famous " 9" All gone too soon from my point of view. Teachers, musicians, nurses, hairdressers, singers,,secretaries, but most of all great mothers. As their little brother I am proudly biased but also sad & lonely without them. A final loving Goodbye to you Bet---Harvey (Woweee.,remember?)
