Elizabeth "Betty" (Brown) Vandenberghe

Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” Vandenberghe of Reston, MB. passed away at the Willowview Personal Care Home on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the age of 82.

Betty is survived by her children: Elaine (Kevin), Stephen (Terri), Keri (Murray), Lori (Clayton), Julie (Harvey), Darek (Annette), Shawna (Derek), Mike, and Brian (Sindy) and Misty (deceased); seventeen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren; sisters, Marj Bolton, Evelyn Laval, Shirley Vandenberghe and Donna Adams; brothers, Orville Brown, Harvey Brown and Billy Brown.

Betty is also survived by a number of beloved in-laws from both the Brown and Vandenberghe families.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Vandenberghe in 2024; sister, Dorothy Howden; brothers, Doug, Ken, Lloyd and Ern Brown.

A Private Family Graveside Funeral Service for Betty was held at the Reston Cemetery, Reston, MB. on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Mrs. Joyce Marsh officiating.

Friends and members of the community then joined the family at the RES Centre in Reston for a time of lunch and visiting.
