Eugene Joseph Landry

Eugene passed away peacefully at the Warman Retirement Care Home at the age of 90 years, on Saturday, December 7, 2024. 

He moved to Warman in 2020 to be closer to family, but Oxbow would always be home. 

A love for gardening, flowers, dancing and woodworking, were just a few of the many facets of a man who lived a full, happy life. 

Eugene was predeceased by his wife Helen, daughter Laurianne, and grandson Benjamin, as well as numerous family members. 

He leaves to celebrate his memory, daughter Anita (Bill), Warman, SK., daughter Carol (Robert), Vernon, BC., 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and his sisters Marguerite, Regina, SK., and Vivian (Vern), Okotoks, AB. 

Special thanks to everyone at Warman Retirement Care for making his last months ones of a happy table, a sense of contentment, and exceptional care. 

The Funeral Mass for Eugene was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Oxbow, SK. on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Father Leonardo Tamayo as Celebrant. Interment followed at the Oxbow Cemetery. A lunch was then held in the basement of the church.
