Eunice Ellen VANSTONE
July 19, 1940 – June 18, 2023
We are saddened to announce that Eunice Vanstone passed away on Sunday, June 18th, 2023 at Parkridge Centre Special Care Home in Saskatoon, SK.
Eunice is survived by her only child Liz Vanstone (Jeff) of Saskatoon, one grandson Aaron of Saskatoon, one granddaughter Shayla of Regina, three great grandchildren: Samuel, Lucas and Graysie, one brother Dennis Vanstone (AB), one nephew Raymond Vanstone (AB), one niece Corine Vanstone (Blackie, AB) as well as numerous cousins.
Eunice is predeceased by both her parents Fred and Stella Vanstone, sister Mavis Stuckey, brother-in-law Lawrence Stuckey and nephew Ross Vanstone.
Eunice’s first job was at the Carlton Cafe in Carnduff until she moved to Estevan, from there she worked in the hospitality industry and childcare for many years.
Eunice had a great love of horses. She broke, showed and barrel raced in fairs in and around Brandon, the Carnduff district and Estevan. Eunice truly loved all animals, especially her horse “Golden Rocket”, her chihuahua “Peppy”, her black lab “Spring” and many other animals she had throughout her lifetime.
Eunice was also passionate about music, she and her ex-husband Morgan Kay, played in a band together until their separation.
The Funeral Service was held at the Carnduff Cemetery Memorial Area on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Father Ron Andree officiating.
