Mrs. Evelyn Huys, formerly of Melita, beloved wife of the late Mr. Gus Huys (d. 2004), passed away at her residence, Bren-Del-Win Lodge, Deloraine, MB. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the age of 85.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Karen (Gus) Dublin (their family, Gus Dublin, John Paul Dublin (Crystal Saunders) (Rylee, Ashton, Jace, and Brody) and Chantel Dublin; two granddaughters, Heather Swayn and Keshia Swayn; daughter-in-law, Carol Huys; two sisters, Shirley (Cliff) Hicks and Linda (Craig) Miner; sister-in-law, Joan Vanbeselaere; also several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Maurice & Marguerite (Cocquyt) Vanbeselaere; husband, Gus; son, David; and brother, Bob Vanbeselaere.
A private family graveside service was held at the Melita Cemetery.
