Everett Barker Obituary
Mr. Everett Barker of Melita passed away peacefully at the Melita Health Centre on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the age of 90.
Everett is survived by his wife, Della; son Gary (friend Brenda) and Gary’s children Brad (friend Caelin), Carla (Jody) (children Brooke and Dean), and Lisa (friend Maynard); son Brian (Dianne) and their children Randy (April) (children Danica and Jillian), Jason (Tya) (children Chanel, Bria, Saige, and Judah), and Michelle (Matt) (daughter Sarah); sister Marilyn (Don) Farley (children Duane, Barry, and Deanna and their families); sister-in-law Marion Barker and her children Duane (Darlene) (children Ryan, Todd, and Cayla) and Donna (son Ben); several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Everett was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Myrtle (Fletcher) Barker; sister Eileen and brothers-in-law Joe Barbour and Dick Shaw; brother Allan; and daughter-in-law Deb Barker.
A funeral service for Everett was held at the Melita Legion Hall (Main Street, Melita, MB.) on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. A time of lunch and visiting followed in the lower hall.
