Florence "Jean" (Dudgeon) Gall

November 30, 1927 ~ July 26, 2021 (age 93) 93 Years Old

Florence Jean (Dudgeon) Gall

November 30, 1927 - July 26, 2021

We, the family of Jean, are deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law and aunt.

Mom lived a full and active life to the age of 93 ¾. She was the youngest child of Fannie and Peter Dudgeon of Darlingford, MB.

Mom grew up in the Darlingford/Morden area on her parent’s farm. She attended normal school for teaching. Her first gig was in Wakapa, MB. where she met her one and only, Charlie Gall. They were married on September 30, 1950. Mom enjoyed gardening, helping dad in the upholstery business, holidays at Killarney in the streetcar cabins, their trip to Scotland for their 25th anniversary, camping (seasonal) at Oak Lake and council trips with Dad. But most of all Mom enjoyed raising and taking part in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom especially loved music and dancing. She never wanted to miss out on a moment of fun so was often the last to bed, even in her nineties.

Mom’s memory will be forever cherished by her nine children, twenty grandchildren and twenty nine (and one on the way in October) great-grandchildren.

Mom was predeceased by her husband, Charlie; parents, Fannie and Peter Dudgeon; sister, Mary (in infancy), sister, Phyliss; niece, Marie; brother, Bob; sisters-in-law, Eunice and Doreen; brothers-in-law, Andy, Art and Dallas; sons-in-law, Allan and Bob; grandson-in-law, Eric.

Mom is survived by her six daughters and three sons: Judy (Sheldon) George, grandchildren: Carmen (Dan) Kaethler, Marcia (Davide) Novo, Graeme (Desarae) George, great-grandchildren, Charlie and Judith Kaethler, Mateo, Micah and Milo Novo; Darlene (Maurice) Pittet, grandchildren, Joel (Britta Jongkind) Pittet, Ashley (Max Anderson) Kruck, great-grandchildren, Felix Pittet and Henry Jongkind, Peyton and Ryker Kruck; Pat (the late Allan) Phillips, grandchildren, Marla (Chris) Hasell, Dayna (Rick) Ricard, great-grandchildren, Brady and Emmet Hasell, Macy, London and (baby) Ricard; David (Ursula) Gall, grandchildren, Luke Gall, Andrew Gall, Bianca (Gurinderpal Johal) Gall; Pam (Darcy) Wilkinson, grandchildren, Brett (Katherine) Wilkinson, Amanda (Nick) Murray, Stacy (the late Eric) Fardoe, great-grandchildren, Dylan, Olivia and Addison Wilkinson, Colton and Keira Murray, Wyatt and Walker Fardoe; Lori (the late Bob) Holden, grandchildren, Linda (Rob) Beam, Tommy Holden, Whitney (Clinton) Wojcik, Jonny (Allie Beaulieu) Holden, great-grandchildren, Skyla, Kelsey and Paxton Beam, Jack and Wesley Holden, Leo Wojcik, Knox Holden, Arie and Nile Beaulieu; Gary Gall, Neil (Jo Ellen) Gall; Alanna (Brad) Gervin, grandchildren, Aaron (Alyssa) Gervin, Stephanie (Wylie Somersall) Gervin and Brayden Gervin, great-grandchildren, Lennon and Macoy Gervin; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
