Frederick "Fred" Cowan Obituary
Mr. Fred Cowan passed away peacefully at the Gainsborough Heath Centre, Gainsborough, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023 at the age of 87.
Fred is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Liz Cowan; son Paul (Teresa) Cowan and their children Jonathan, Ryan, Jordan and Vanessa; son Scott (Maria) Cowan; daughter Lisa Cowan; daughter Karen (Corey) Douglas and their son Ethan; brother Colin Cowan; sister Merle (Gord) Young; sister Helen Kosmonek, sister Marilyn (Brad) Harris; sister-in-law Alison Seago; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Russell and Eileen Cowan; in-laws John and Dorothy Slade; brother-in-law Karl Kosmonek; brother-in-law John Seago; sister-in-law Gerry Cowan.
The funeral service for Fred was held at the Carievale United Church, Carievale, SK. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathy Kyle officiating. Interment followed at the Carievale Cemetery.
