Gerald "Buck" Slessor Obituary
Mr. Buck Slessor of Reston passed away at the Reston Health Centre on Monday, June 1, 2026 at the age of 91.
Buck was predeceased by his first wife, Nellie Slessor; his parents, Peter and Jessie Slessor; his brothers, John and Doug Slessor; and sister-in-law, Florence Slessor. He was also predeceased by brothers-in-law, Alex, Ed, Joey and Michael; and sisters-in-law, Catherine and Mary from Betty’s family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Slessor; step-son, Garry MacDonald (Christine); Kayla Prasad (Ranga) and family, Melissa MacDonald (Dan) and family and Brett MacDonald (Joyce). He is also survived by Betty’s son, Rem (Shannon); daughter, Kathy; sisters-in-law, Regina and Mary; brother-in-law, George (Louaine); nephew, Grant Slessor (Susan) and family and niece, Lorna Slessor.
A public graveside funeral service for Buck was held at the Tilston Cemetery, Tilston, MB. on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. A lunch followed at the Tilston Hall.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Buck’s memory to the Tilston Cemetery Fund.
