Glenn Zimmerman Obituary
Mr. Glenn Zimmerman of Alameda passed away unexpectedly at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the age of 57.
He was predeceased by his father, Wes Zimmerman; mother, Janet Zimmerman; and sister Denise Gelech.
Glenn is survived by his long time partner, Diane Millar; three step-children, Jackie (Mike) Dornian (grandchildren, Micaela (Mathew) Roberts, great-grandson, Colt, Maddox, Addyson, Aubree); Angela Millar (Marko) (grandchildren, Rex, Luna); Dustin Millar (Kristen) (grandchild, Finnegan); brother, Bernie Zimmerman (Michelle) (niece, Meaghan, great-nephews, Liam and Greyson, nephew, Greg); brother-in-law, Grant Gelech; neice and nephew, Bastian Gelech and Zoe Gelech.
Glenn was a simple man of which materialistic items didn’t matter. He was an avid fisherman, Hunter, lover of the outdoors and a dedicated volunteer firefighter. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends for his big waves, colourful stories, and pop by visits.
A public come & go celebration of Glenn’s life was held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Alameda Legion Hall, Alameda, SK.
